Bifaces

Iconic tools of the Paleolithic, bifaces come in many varieties, differing by the era in which they appeared (Acheulean, Mousterian), the fineness of their workmanship, and also their shapes: almond-shaped, cordiform, triangular, sub-triangular... For purely aesthetic reasons, Bernard mainly reproduced cordiform and triangular bifaces, in flint or obsidian.
