"Prehistoric tools aren't all out of reach, behind the sometimes-dusty glass of museum cases!" Here is a sample of what Bernard made over twenty years, using the same techniques and materials as those who made the originals, 3,000 to 150,000 years ago: bone, wood, animal and plant glues, sinew, leather, tar, obsidian... and flint!

These tools (bifaces, axes, knives) and projectile weapons (bows and arrows, atlatls and darts) are rigorously faithful to what archaeologists unearth, and while they can be displayed, let's not forget they are first and foremost made to be used. All of them are fully functional.
